What are key items to take with you on a guided tour of Western Europe?

    A water bottle it gets hot there
    anything you would take to the beach, like Sun screen and all that

    Also You must make sure you keep your passport safe at all times, when i was in Madrid with my friends, they put all their passports in a bag, except me I was smart, and some guy came up and took the whole entire bag

    A passport. Money or access to same (credit/debit cards work internationally). Any prescription drugs. Your favourite anti-perspirant/shampoo etc. Map. Phrase book/dictionary. Camera. Journal. Address book. Travel detergent (to wash clothes). An open mind.

    a simple dictionary euros and English money camera not expensive tho because we forget allot as tourists in Europe a Small umbrella for shade or rain sun screen and a good attitude..
