I think the best thing for the twins is to carry on as normal and still keep maddie in the public eye. I mean they must think it is a rather long holiday those little kids but maddie must still be kept in public view

Anyone will be looking after them David. As long as the McCanns can jet off they could not give a monkey. They are very arrogant and selfish people and all for themselves.

Well, it all depends if before the first of these events, they can manage to lose their twins. They were probably a bit annoyed to find them still there the first time (according to them) they were abandoned back in Portugal. Those kids are going to get in the way of their jet setting. To be honest, the twins have probably forgotten who the helll their real mummy and daddy are by now. Still, presumaby, cuddle cat will attend the tours – the sympathy will ensure the pennies come rolling in. I am sure I saw pound signs in Gerry’s eyes during one of his recent press conferences.

Turning into a full blown circus, as for the twins, considering they have stated that they are trying to carry on with life as normal for their sake, I would say this was far from bl00dy normal!
They already miss a big sister, *** must going through their heads whilst Mummy and Daddy globe trot, God only knows, if he even does!

If you care so much why don’t you get on a plane and fly over there and watch them? But of course you don’t really give a hoot all you care about is how many stars you get, right David.

I must admit that I don’t think these two are coming back to UK for quite some time.
After the publicity for Madeline trip, there will be the book signing tour, the after dinner speaking tours etc. They will probably send the twins home on the private jet, alone of course, to be looked after by a nanny.

    No more, please no more!
All this stupidity have made the kidnapper or kidnappers more nervous and put this poor little kid at higher risk. If there was a slight chance of bring her alive, its gone. The publicity, the reward, the parent’s spectacle just sealed her fate.

Without meaning to sound heartless isn’t it about time the twins became a priority and some sort of normality and routine be established?

I know they want to keep Madeleine in the public eye but surely at some point it has to be put on the backburner for the sake of the twins. They can’t carry on the daily campaigning, the travelling, the interviews, the publicity etc etc when they have 2 other children in their care which need CARE.

I wish people would get off the parents backs, if you really must know they are being looked after by their aunt, their father’s sister, for heavens sake give them peace, they feel guilty enough without strangers who don’t know them sticking the boot in,everyone has made mistakes not everyone has to pay for them the way they are. By the way it must be hard being perfect……………………………..

The McCann bashing on this site goes from bad to worse. You people will find something to criticise in anything the McCanns do and it’s all hogwash.

If they took the twins with them, they’d be wrong for disrupting them; that they haven’t is wrong because they’ve left them behind.

Their decision to stay is apparently all about having an extended holiday but if they came home they’d be accused of forgetting about their daughter.

They have made arrangements to deal with offers of funds and have decided to use them to assist in searching for her – WRONG, apparently since other missing kids haven’t had this kind of response (haven’t they? Ever? Any of them?) but it’s wrong of them to say that their efforts (and, in due course, funds) might assist in finding other missing children since that obviously means that they don’t care about their own daughter.

Oh and they are middle class (apparently) which is perhaps their worst sin except, of course, for Kate McCann who commits the cardinal sin of resembling Heather Mills. You have to wonder why the police haven’t locked her up and thrown away the key for that alone???

The tiniest bit of actual compassion and genuine understanding of a family in anguish would make all the difference around here.

the twins need to be put in a place of safety away from their so called caring parents

David, ignore nonentities such as silk stockings and her abusive, poorly thought out, snide remarks…I have just read this on an article in the Guardian………

‘……….They are also terribly nervous of overkill. “Although it seems as though Kate and I are in the media all the time, that is not the case,” Gerry McCann said yesterday in Madrid. “I can assure you that Kate and I are getting a lot of quality time with Sean and Amelie. Spending time with them helps us cope with the fact that Madeleine is missing.”

    AHEM !!

I shouldn’t think anyone will look after the twins unless, of course, the photographers are out. Well spotted about Harry Potter David, today they have announced they are looking into Madeliene bookmarks in the new novel.

’silkstockings’ you say that David should go over and look after them. You may want some random stranger from yahoo answers looking after the twins but I would like the McCann’s to do the right thing and look after then themselves. That says an awful lot about your parenting skills or future parenting skills.

Why do they think as much publicity is needed to find there daughter?

    October 5th, 2009 at 17:52

no doubt by a string of well paid nannies paid for from the plc on behalf of circus mccann

i think you have never been the parent of a missing child
that’s probably why you can trivialise the situation

Well just perhaps if all this publicity does lead to Madaleine being found, could it possibly be a better utilisation of media coverage perhaps, than the continued hyping on about the death of Diana ten years ago or what boring rubbish some half witted female said to somebody else in the Big Brother House at 4 in the morning?
