There is a great book I loved when little called &quot;The Extraordinary Origin of Everyday Things&quot; that tells you all kinds of cool facts like how Wrigley originally started out as a soap company &amp; the gum that came with the box was so popular they switched to making it their focus, when people started holding their hands in prayer, Friday the 13th....and so. 

Since you shared so many facts with us, I&#039;ll share an interesting fact I know:

In 1898, fourteen years before the Titanic sunk, a novella written by Morgan Robertson an ocean liner which sinks in the North Atlantic after striking an iceberg was published. There were many eerie similarities between the fictional ocean liner and the Titanic. The eeriest one being that the fictional was named the Titan, and the title of the novella is &quot;The Wreck of the Titan.&quot;
